Doggy Day Care and Dog Boarding Tours

We welcome tours of our doggy day care facility in Denver, CO. Please call to set up an appointment. All boarding dogs are required to attend a free pre-boarding evaluation day prior to staying with us. This allows us to access your dogs behavior in a social environment.

Dog Acceptance Policy

We accept dogs 4 months of age or older. Each dog must have proof of up to date vaccinations of Rabies, Distemper/Parvo, and Bordetella. All dogs 6 months or older must be spayed or neutered. We welcome and love all legal breeds and sizes; however, we do not allow dogs that are aggressive toward people or other dogs.

Colorado has been experiencing some abnormal bordetella (kennel cough) seasons. Some believe this is K-9 influenza because of the similar symptoms. The only way to find out if your dog does indeed have K-9 influenza is through an expensive blood test. They both are treated the same for the most part but extreme cases can lead to pneumonia. We suggest a healthy dose of vitamin C with the amount of grams given depending on the size of your dog; check with your veterinarian. Although Daily Wag does not accept dogs that are coughing, a cough may start to occur under the duration of the stay. The cough does not begin right away because the incubation period is anywhere from 4-10 days. Daily Wag will not allow your dog through the door if your dog is coughing. Please understand this is nothing personal but because of the severity of kennel cough being contagious, this is for the protection of other dogs who may not have been infected yet.

Hours of Operation

Doggy Day Care Hours: Monday - Sunday 6:30am -7:00 pm. We do offer daycare on Sundays! Offices are closed between 12:30 pm – 2:30 p.m. You may drop off your dog anytime before 12:30 pm and you can pick up your dog anytime after 2:30 pm unless you have made a special arrangement with the staff. This special two hour window is a rest period for our dogs. If it is your dogs first day please drop off by 8:00 am so that we may introduce her/him more slowly to the dog pack. Overnight dog boarding hours are the same plus a little play time at 9:00 pm – 9:15 pm for potty break. Overnights include kennel free play time 7 days/week. Half days are 4 hours or less. No pickups during nap time (12:30pm-2:30 pm). We encourage nap time to prevent over stimulation and try to keep interruptions to a minimum during this time. Dogs will be kept separated from each other during nap time. Our offices are closed during nap time. All dogs must be picked up by 7:00 pm. Late charges will be applied after 7:00 pm. Late charges are $5 for every 15 minutes. So, what happens after 7:00 pm? It's clean up time! During dinner (6:30 pm), the boarders will be separated again for a little rest time while their hosts clean up after a day of fun. 9:15 p.m. will be the last potty break before snooze time from 9:30 p.m. (lights out) to 6:00 a.m.

Daily Wag does not provide food for doggy day care or dog boarding. Please suppy enough of your pet's preferred food when dropping them off for day care or boarding. We will always keep extra food on hand in case you accidentally don't bring food however, dogs digestive systems do much better if their diets are not constantly switched.
