Doggy Day Care and Dog Boarding Tours

You and your doggy are more than welcome to tour our facility; in fact, we require all boarding dogs to attend a free pre-boarding evaluation a day before staying with us.

Dog Acceptance Policy

We accept dogs 4-months of age or older, and each dog must have all their shots up to date; these include:

Rabies

Distemper/Parvo

Bordetella

All dogs 6-months or older must be spayed or neutered; all legal breeds are welcome, the exception being dogs that are aggressive to other people or dogs.

Bordetella (Kennel Cough)

Please be advised that Colorado has been experiencing abnormal cases of Bordetella this season, some speculating that it might be K-9 influenza. Please ensure that your dog receives plenty of Vitamin C and a blood test. Although Daily Wag! doesn't accept dogs that already have a cough, if your dog begins to cough during their stay, the cough's incubation period of 4-10 days has likely passed. We want to be clear that it's nothing personal, but your dog cannot be allowed through our doors if they are already coughing. Boarding dogs means all pets are near each other, and we want to protect them as much as possible.

Paperwork to Enroll in our Daycare and/or Boarding

We require all guests to fill out a few forms and bring them with you when you visit. These include a Pet Profile, Service Agreement, and Veterinarian Release Form.

Hours of Operation

Doggy Day Care Hours: Monday - Sunday 6:30 AM -7:00 PM. We do offer daycare on Sundays! Offices are closed between 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM. For our dog boarding services, feel free to drop off your dog any time before 12:30 PM and pick them up any time after 2:30 PM unless you've made a special arrangement with the staff. This unique two-hour window is a rest period for our dogs. If it's your dog's first day, please drop them off by 8:00 AM so we can introduce them to the rest of the dog pack slowly. Overnight dog boarding hours are the same, plus a little playtime for a potty break from 9:00 PM – 9:15 PM. Overnights include kennel free play time seven days/week. Half days are 4 hours or less. No Pickups During Nap Time (12:30 PM-2:30 PM) We encourage nap time to prevent overstimulation and try to keep interruptions to a minimum during this time. Dogs will be kept separated from each other during nap time. Our offices are closed during nap time.
All dogs must be picked up by 7:00 PM. Late charges will be applied after 7:00 PM. Late payments are $5 for every 15 minutes. After 7 PM It's clean-up time! During dinner (6:30 PM), the boarders will be separated again for a bit of rest time while their hosts clean up after a day of fun. 9:15 PM will be the last potty break before snooze time from 9:30 PM (lights out) to 6:00 AM.

Reservations for Dog Boarding and Doggy Day Care

If you want to bring your dog for daycare or boarding, you'll need a reservation because we can't guarantee a space for your dog for drop-ins. Please prepare payment for boarding when you arrive, and please note full payment for holiday reservations is required the same day the reservation is made.

Vet Care

You can rest easy knowing Urban Vet Care stands works closely with us since it's located nearby in Highlands on Speer Blvd. Dr. Amy Rupp and Dr. Theresa Dye and their professional staff are always available during the day. We have the 24-hour staff of Wheatridge Animal Hospital in case of an emergency outside of Urban Vet Care's provision. Click here to visit their website.

Dog Food During Stay

Daily Wag! does not provide food for doggy daycare or dog boarding. Please supply enough of your pet's preferred food when dropping them off for daycare or boarding. We will always keep extra food on hand if you accidentally don't bring food; however, a dog's diet is better if it is not constantly switched.
